Profile Information

About me:
I am an older person that had been around animals all my life and have always owned animals. I mainly have done the horse business but of course have had dogs, cats and goats all the time too. At the moment I have 17 animals all of which were rescues.
About my pets:
I have 17 animals here. I have 2 dogs, one Australian Shepherd, and one border collie. I have 8 cats that are all just cats. No special breeds cause they all moved in with me. They appreared very skinny and wild and now they are fat and most of them are tame.
I have 2 miniature baby donkeys that both have something wrong with them but they are fine.
And I have one very old horse that I feed six meals a day cause she can't chew anything.

Waggin Tail treats

I have written once about these great doggie treats and just decided that it was time to write about them again. These treats are excellent with a grain free version available as well.

But the story behind these treats is a very dear tale. The owner of the Waggin’ Tails Treats made these treats for her dog Willow who was much loved but she was diagnosed with incurable cancer. She had a mass in a very bad area and she needed to have a biopsy right away. This was in 2001. So the news was that Wil… Continue

Margaret - you were Person (and Pets) of the Week! Here's the write-up about you for posterity:

Congratulations and a tail wag to Margaret, a founding member of Pet Health Focus. She is a special kind of angel - she has rescued many animals, and cares for 17 now, including cats, dogs, donkeys and a horse! Many of these animals have been sick and need extra care and attention. Please check out Margaret's page and add her as a friend. Thanks, Margaret, for all you do.

Hi, Margaret-

I'm just writing to say hi. I haven't seen you here for awhile. Do you have any more photos or stories you'd like to add here? People have been adding a lot of new pictures - come check them out when you have some time.

Hope to see you here soon-

That isn't a pony, which you probably know. It is a baby miniature donkey. The goat rides the pony???? Wow, that is terrific. See if you can get a video of that and you could make all kinds of money. Plus I would love to see that.
I have four goats too. I cannot imagine one of them riding a pony. Although one of my goats does jump into the wheelbarrow and lets me push him around. Great to be friends with you.

Thanks Margie!
I look forward to our friendship! I love your picture, it reminds me of my mom's small pony that her goat jumps on & rides, it's really fun to watch.

Thanks Amy, in my old age, I really enjoy hearing about other people's pets. Will be glad to put more pictures up. I really need to take some more. Good luck on getting all these guys to be still while I take a picture.
