I hate to disappoint everyone but Chanel is NOT the worlds oldest dog. My sister-in-law, Linda Dinger, of Huron, TN has a miniature red long-haired dachshund named Daisy that turned 23 on January 1st of this year. We think Daisy is an amazing dog. She is almost blind and deaf but she still rules the roost in their home of seven dogs!!! They have two Dachshunds, three Norfolk Terriers, one Parson's Russell Terrier and one German Shepherd. I just wanted to set the record straight!
